BIPA’s Monthly Members Meeting will take the form of a panel discussion on the recent Cable & Wireless-FLOW Merger. BIPA’s President, Mr. Andre Griffith will lead the panel discussion.

This is a public forum discussion inviting the public at large to understand a glimpse of the future of the Telecommunications industry in Barbados and its stakeholders of FTC, telecommunications regulation, consumers and business. In addition, from this discussion it is expected that more clarity is made on the challenges facing the average Barbadian consumer in relation to jobs, products and services as a result of this potential merger.

Take the 1st left turn for parking, or comply with the directions of UWI Security.
The meeting area is up the steps adjacent to the parking area.

Membership Dues are as follows:
Category Requirements Membership Dues (Yearly)
Professional Member A recognized degree in an ICT field and a minimum of one year work experience OR a recognized
diploma or industry certification and a minimum of two years work experience OR a minimum of five years work experience in an ICT field $75.00
Associate Member A recognized degree, diploma or industry certification in an ICT field or three (3) years work experience in an ICT field. $50.00
Student Member A student of an approved ICT track of study (certain industry certifications, tertiary level education) with less than 1 year full time ICT work experience. $10.00
Affiliate A company from another discipline with an interest in ICT matters $250.00
Corporate A company registered in Barbados with a primary ICT function, or a functional unit offering ICT services to
B2B, B2C. A corporate member may send up to a maximum of 4 representatives (who must pre-qualify as a Professional, Student or Associate member on an individual basis). $500.00
